Privacy Policy

LFTD ("we", "us", "our") builds a lift-tracking and AI coaching app for iOS and Android. This policy explains what data we collect, why we collect it, and how you can control it — written in plain English rather than legal jargon.

What we collect

Account info — your email address, used to sign you in via Supabase Authentication.
Workout data — the exercises, weights, reps, and sets you log.
Bodyweight data — weigh-ins you choose to log.
Goal preference — whether you've set your goal to "build muscle" or "lose fat".
Subscription status — whether you're on a free trial or paid Pro plan, managed via RevenueCat.

How we use it

We use your data to:

Show you your own logged lifts, charts, and bodyweight trends
Power the AI Coach feature, which analyses your logged workout history to identify stalls and estimate progress — this analysis is sent securely to Anthropic's API to generate your coaching insights
Manage your subscription and free trial status
Send you optional push notifications, such as weekly weigh-in reminders or rest timer alerts

We do not sell your personal data to third parties, and we do not use your data to serve ads.

Who we share it with

Supabase — our backend database and authentication provider. Your account and workout data is stored securely here with row-level security enabled, meaning only you can access your own data.
Anthropic — when you use the AI Coach feature, a summary of your logged workout data is sent to Anthropic's API to generate personalised coaching feedback. This is used solely to generate your response and is not used to train Anthropic's models.
RevenueCat — manages subscription and trial status. RevenueCat receives your purchase/subscription events but not your workout data.
Apple & Google — if you subscribe via the App Store or Google Play, they process your payment; we never see your card details.

Data retention

We keep your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your workout logs, weigh-ins, and profile information are permanently deleted from our systems.

Your rights

You can at any time:

Request a copy of the data we hold about you
Request correction of inaccurate data
Request deletion of your account and all associated data

To make any of these requests, email us at hello@lftdapp.com and we'll action it within 30 days.

Children's privacy

LFTD is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect data from children under this age.

Changes to this policy

If we make material changes to this policy, we'll update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of LFTD after changes means you accept the updated policy.
